In AMP, you can create multiple pricelists to be used by different customers. A General Pricelist is available to all customers who are assigned to it and is also used for new customers added by reps, or when no customer is selected.

This guide explains how to create and configure General Pricelists in AMP.

Steps to Create a General Pricelist:

1. Add a Price Column to Your Product Table:

  • In your Product Table, add a column to store the prices for each product.
  • You can name this column anything you like, but it’s important that it accurately reflects the pricing data for your products.

2. Tag the Price Column as "General Price":

  • Once you’ve added the price column, tag it as General Price (or any name you prefer).
  • This is the column that will be used for pricing customers who have access to your General Pricelist.

3. (Optional) Add a Column to Your Customer Table:

  • If you want to specify which customers can access particular pricelists, add a column to your Customer Table.
  • Tag the new column as either Allowed Rep Pricelists or Allowed Buyer Pricelists, depending on whether you're assigning access to reps or buyers.

4. Assign the Pricelist to Customers:

  • In the Allowed Rep Pricelists or Allowed Buyer Pricelists column, enter the exact name of the price column you created (e.g., if you named the column "Promo Price", enter "Promo Price" here).
  • The names must match exactly to ensure the correct pricing is visible to the right reps or buyers. If the names don’t match, they won’t be able to see the pricing.

5. Add Multiple Pricelists (Optional):

  • If you want to assign multiple pricelists to a customer, separate each pricelist name with a comma in the Allowed Rep Pricelists or Allowed Buyer Pricelists column.
  • For example, you could add both "FOB" and "Promo Price" by entering "FOB, Promo Price" in the column.

Important Notes:

  • Exclusive Pricelists: If you also have Exclusive Pricelists (e.g., for specific customers), be sure to add these pricelists to the Allowed Rep Pricelists or Allowed Buyer Pricelists column. This ensures the right customers only see the prices they’re authorized for.

  • Blank Columns: If you leave the Allowed Rep Pricelists or Allowed Buyer Pricelists column blank, the rep or buyer will be able to see all General Pricelists from your Product Table. To restrict access, you must enter the specific pricelists for each customer in this column.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to create and assign General Pricelists to specific reps or buyers in AMP, giving you greater control over pricing visibility and access.
