How to Add External Videos to SKUs in AMP Shop

If you have external video URLs (e.g., YouTube or Vimeo) that you'd like to attach to individual SKUs in AMP Shop, this guide will show you how to add them easily.


Steps to Add External Video URLs to SKUs:

  1. Create a Column in the Product Table
    Add a new column in your product table to store the video URLs for each SKU. If you have multiple videos, separate the URLs with commas.

  2. Tag the Column as "External Video URLs"
    Label this column with the tag "External Video URLs" to ensure AMP recognizes it as a field for external videos.

  3. Add URL to Each SKU



  4. Display Videos in AMP Shop
    Once the videos are added, they will appear in the product table in AMP Shop. Look for the video camera icon in the SKU rows.

    • Click the icon to expand and view the list of video links associated with the SKU.

  5. Watch the Video
    To view a video, simply click the link. The video will open in a new browser tab, allowing you to watch it directly from its source.


Pro Tips:

  • Ensure the URLs are properly formatted and accessible for smooth playback.
  • You can add multiple video links by separating them with commas in the "External Video URLs" column.
