Duplicating an order in AMP allows you to quickly replicate a completed order, including any specific configurations made to items. This is especially useful when you need to reorder the same items for different customers or place similar orders without starting from scratch.
Steps to Duplicate an Order
Step 1: Navigate to the Sales Activity Section in CMS
- Log into AMP CMS and go to the Sales Activity section.
- This is where you can view all the orders placed by your team.
Step 2: Locate and Select the Order to Duplicate
- In the Sales Activity view, find the order you want to duplicate.
- You can use the search function or filter options to quickly locate the order.
Step 3: Click on "Duplicate Order"
- Once you've selected the order, click on the Duplicate Order option. This will create a new order with all the same items and configurations.
Step 4: Select the Customer's Cart to Place the Items
- You’ll now be prompted to choose the customer cart where the duplicated items will be added.
- Select the appropriate customer to place the order under.
Step 5: Click "Place Order" to Complete the Process
- After selecting the customer, click on the Place Order button to proceed with completing the order placement.
- This will finalize the duplicated order and add it to your sales activity.
Side Note: Creating a Specsheet from an Older Order
- If you want to create a specsheet from the duplicated order, follow the steps above and after selecting Duplicate Order, click on Build a Specsheet for these items.
- This will generate a specsheet with all the item details from the duplicated order.
Step 6: Confirm the Order to Finish the Process
- Finally, you’ll be asked to Confirm Order to complete the order placement process.
- Once confirmed, the order will be processed and added to the customer’s history.

- Duplicating orders saves you time and reduces the chance of errors, especially when reordering the same items for multiple customers.
- If you're frequently duplicating similar orders, be sure to review the customer cart before placing the order to ensure everything is accurate.
