As an admin of AMP, there may come a time when you need to rename or delete a column in one of your tables in CSV/Excel rather than using Edit Table.


To rename/delete a column of the Product Table in AMP


1) Click Export to CSV in the table editing bar to export the table to ExcelProduct table export as CSV


2) Rename and/or delete columns in the file, and save the updated file as a CSV.Update Column Name


3) Navigate to Manage Catalog, then click on Products/SKUs and click Add a new tableAdd a new table

4) From the table review page, tag the columns to match the column tags you have in your current table and click Accept the upload


5) Navigate to Products/SKUs again from the navigation bar and click make active next to the new table to make the new table the active tableMake active

 

To rename/delete a column of the Customer/Rep Table in AMP


1) Click Export to CSV in the table editing bar to export the table to ExcelRep table export as CSV


2) Rename and/or delete columns in the file, and save the updated file as a CSV.


3) Navigate to Users/Locations and then either Reps or Customers again from the navigation bar and click Delete this TableDelete this table


4) Click Choose File, then Upload Updated File to upload your new Customer/Rep TableUpload new file


5) From the table review page, tag the columns to match the column tags you have in your current table and click Accept the upload
