Uploading your product data to AMP is an essential step for populating your catalog. AMP supports product data in CSV format, and you can either upload new data or update existing product entries.

Steps to Upload a Product Table
Prepare Your Product Data
- Compile the Data: Gather your product data in an Excel spreadsheet or export a product report from your backend system.
- Remove Unnecessary Data: Make sure there are no empty rows or columns in the spreadsheet. Clean the data for accuracy and completeness.
- Save as CSV: Save the file in CSV format. This is the required file type for upload to AMP.
Access the AMP CMS
- Navigate to the Manage Catalog Tab: In the AMP CMS, go to Manage Catalog and then click the Products tab.
Add a New Product Table
- Click 'Add a New Table': In the Products section, click on the Add a New Table button.

Choose Your File
- Click Choose File: Select the CSV file you saved earlier from your computer's file system, and click Open.

Accept the Upload

Important Considerations
Unique SKU/ID Column: Every product must have a unique identifier. Ensure that your product table includes a column tagged as SKU or Product Id, with unique entries for each product. This is crucial for proper identification and management of your products in AMP.
Column Tags: Make sure the data in each column corresponds to the correct column tag. For example:
- SKU: Used to uniquely identify each product.
- Item Name: The name of the product.
- Price: The product’s price.
- Inventory: The available quantity of the product.
