What is a Page Title and Page Sorting Key?
In AMP, Page Titles and Page Sorting Keys are used to organize and customize how your product catalog pages are titled and ordered.
Page Title: AMP automatically generates a page title by combining the collection and category of products (if available). However, you can override this default by using the Page Title column tag to customize the name of each group.
Page Sorting Key: The Page Sorting Key allows you to control the order of your pages. By default, AMP sorts pages alphanumerically based on the Page ID. Using the Page Sorting Key column lets you arrange pages in a custom order, starting from the lowest number to the highest. Remember that "0" and blank entries are considered the lowest numbers and will appear first in the catalog.
To Get Started:
Ensure Your Page ID Column is Filled Out:
Make sure each of your products has an appropriate Page ID assigned. This is necessary to group products together onto specific pages.Consider Pulling Data from Existing Columns:
If you have columns for SKU, Collection, or Category, you can use these as reference points when creating your Page Titles.

Enter numerical values in the Page Sorting Key column. The pages will be ordered from the lowest number to the highest. If you leave cells blank or enter "0", those pages will be positioned first in your catalog.Verify the Order of Pages:
After updating the Page Sorting Key values, check AMP Sell or AMP Shop to ensure that your pages are displayed in the correct order based on the numbers you’ve entered.
Pro Tip:
- Use Page Titles and Page Sorting Keys together to create a highly customized catalog structure that aligns with your organizational goals. For example, you can prioritize important products or groups by assigning them lower sorting numbers (e.g., 0, 1, 2), and keep less important products toward the end with higher numbers (e.g., 99, 100).
By following these steps, you can easily customize and organize your catalog pages in AMP, ensuring that your product listings appear exactly as you want them.
